Peninsula Truss - Newly Acquired

Peninsula Truss Co. was started in Bremerton, Washington by Chet and Debbie Loudin in 1979. Chet’s Truss Company was the first roof truss manufacturer in Kitsap County and remains so today. In the mid 1980’s, the company moved its facilities to a new and larger location near Belfair, WA. In January of 1997, Chet’s Truss was purchased by David Jory and Parker Lumber Co. of Bremerton, one of the oldest companies in Kitsap County and a respected supplier of building materials since 1922. We changed our name to Peninsula Truss Co. and began a large ongoing investment program to upgrade and expand our manufacturing equipment, boom trucks and facilities.

In September 2008 we moved into our new, 18,000 square foot plant on nearly 2 acres at 4173 Wheaton Way in Bremerton. We’re extremely proud of this facility, which features all-new high-tech manufacturing equipment including an Alpine 286 Linear Saw System whose servo technology produces precision accuracy up to 1/32". With our state-of-the-art truss design software and production equipment, we can now engineer and build trusses that were inconceivable just a few years ago. Our ongoing commitment to quality through innovation means you can be assured your trusses will be built to the highest performance specifications.
